Without a doubt, we knew today we were going to see tha amazing people at Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center. Cody & Ellie decided that they wanted to buy a package of diapers each and some baby wipes and deliver them to Two Hearts.
It was so exciting to see Cody & Ellie bargain shop for diapers. However, Cody said, "if we are going to do it we need to do it right." He said,"that includes buying good diapers." I can already tell in the 15 days of our journey that they are changing, in a good way. They are thinking of others first and wanting to go the extra mile to help someone out.
After we selected the Luvs brand diapers...Ellie pointed out you got more for the money. We headed to the check out line, each of us with something in our hands. While waiting in line Cody allowed 2 people to go ahead of him in line. After we checked out, and we were heading to the car, Ellie spotted a shopping cart in the parking lot. She quickly grabbed it and returned it to the inside of the store.
We left Family Dollar on a mission for Two Hearts. We got there just as the Director was helping a lady inside with her children. We knew this act of kindness felt right. When the kids saw the lady with her child, they said almost at the same time I wonder if she can use our diapers for her child?
We of course took our usual kindness journey photo and then headed outside. While outside I spoke to the Director for a moment. It was then that I had a confirmation that we were meant to be there today.
You know, it amazes me. We are all here and on a journey together. We need to be still and listen. Be willing to help when you see the need. God has you here for a greater purpose than for yourself.
Be kind! It's soooooo easy!! Smile, it's contagious! Be still and listen to someone tell a story about their journey in life, laugh it is contagious and love. All of these are easy and all of these are free. God loves me and is sooooo good and kind to me. I can never ever thank Him enough....but, I sure want Him to be proud of the way I live my life.
Thank you God for the Godly women at Two Hearts Pregnancy Care center....they are amazing!!! Please bless and keep them close to you. Thank you God for Cody & Miss Ellie and this kindness journey you have us on.
